With a website created for clients, where a full brochure and product catalogue is available, the potential buyer can send a tender (online) or Request for Quote to prospective Suppliers. The supplier, in turn, can return a quotation on the request resulting in a placement of an order. This process is all done electronically, online without the use of an archaic solution. Buyers and suppliers can thus engage in a global online trading system.

For example:
If you are an exhibitor at a trade fair, one is able to advertise, using the world wide web as a medium, the products / services of one's company. Prospective visitors to the fair can view a detailed graphic of these products and request more info or quote. The Exhibitor can thus send a quote back to the supplier and in turn receive an order for the product / service. All these processes and solutions can take place before, during and after the exhibition!
